Kenya

  • The Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta recently inaugurated the Lamu Port as the first container ships docked on the new port. The port is said to open up a trade corridor for neighbouring countries and further contributes to the LAPPSET (Lamu Port South Sudan Ethiopia Transport Corridor) project. Kingdom of Eswatini

  • The Kingdom of Eswatini is set on embarking on its economic recovery plan which saves the economy from crashing. The post-COVID-19 economic recovery plan focuses on 8 different sectors including Business, Agriculture, Mining, Tourism and the Environment amongst others. https://bit.ly/3bOzt4

Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)The city of Goma in the Democratic Republic of Congo experienced a volcanic eruption from Mt. Nyiragongo. The volcanic mountain has been dormant for the past two decades. Goma is home to nearly two million people and the government has launched an evacuation program.
