BOTSWANA
Botswana is quickly cementing its status as a global frontier in the precious stones scene. This comes after a 1174 carat diamond was discovered and ranks third place among the world’s largest diamonds. Roughly 2 weeks earlier, another large diamond was discovered in the country and had set the record as the largest diamond in the country .
ZIMBABWE
Zimbabwe has recently introduced a new banknote which will be the highest denomination in the country. Up until 2019, Zimbabwe had been using a different currency and the new banknote is the most valuable since the 2019 update. The new note is worth US$0.60 .
ANGOLA
Angola is making plans to launch a surface metro for its capital in Luanda in a bid to improve the country and region’s infrastructure. The metro is expected to cover a distance of 149 Kilometers and will reduce the traffic gridlocks that occur frequently in the city .
