Account & Sales Manager – Food Industry (B2B)

Our client specializes in sweeteners, enzyme-based flour improvers, starches and stabilisers, vitamins premixes, flavours and colourants is looking to recruit a Sales Manager. The scope of operation currently includes Baking, Beverage, Condiments, Confectionery, Convenience, Dairy, Snacks and Seasoning industries. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in the food ingredient industry. He/she must have a bachelor’s in food science or related field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify market dynamics, pricing trends and customer opportunities.
  • Achieve sales targets at agreed accounts.
  • Formulate and cost customer premixes.
  • Update customer pricelist on an ongoing base.
  • Regularly visit customers.
  • Actively grow relationships with customers to enhance ongoing sales opportunity.
  • Actively look for new sales opportunity in the market.
  • Champion customer concerns/requirements, and act as a facilitator to meet customer need.
  • Assist clients in resolving technical queries Conduct customer and distributor training.
  • Assist with product and application training of distributors and customers.


  • Post-graduate degree in Food Technology/ Science or related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in Flour milling & Vitamin fortification industry.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Networking skills.
  • Strong technical abilities.
  • Knowledge of Flour milling & Vitamin fortification market.
  • Knowledge of appropriate regulations and quality background.
  • Negotiating skills.
  • Must have technical work experience in the food ingredient sector.
