Our client a collection of two companies is seeking to hire an Admin Assistant (hybrid) to support their startups based in the rural areas of Nanyuki, Kenya. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing administrative tasks/ schedules, organizing meetings, managing social media pages and handling correspondence. The ideal candidate Must have a Degree in HR and a minimum of 4 years’ experience as an admin assistant.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with a variety of administrative tasks, including managing schedules, organizing meetings, and handling correspondence.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation using Google Docs and Sheets.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations as needed.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with stakeholders, including team members, clients, and external partners.
- Serve as a point of contact for inquiries and provide timely responses.
- Support media-related activities such as drafting press releases, managing social media accounts, and maintaining company websites.
- Assist with content creation and distribution across various digital platforms.
Qualifications
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree.
- Must have a minimum of 4 years’ experience as an admin assistant.
- Must display strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be proficient in Google Docs and Sheets.
- Familiarity with website and social media management.
- Self-motivated with a can-do attitude and the ability to work independently.
- Must be able to work in hybrid and in rural areas.
