Our client, a leading specialty beauty company based in Nairobi, Kenya is seeking to recruit a passionate and outgoing Beauty Advisor to represent their international luxury fragrance brands and engage with their target audience. The successful candidate will play a vital role in promoting the brand image, increasing awareness, driving customer engagement and importantly sales. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years’ Luxury Fragrance experience as a Beauty Advisor in a busy retail store.
Responsibilities:
- Customer engagement: Proactively interact with customers, educate them about our products, and provide personalized recommendations to enhance their beauty routines.
- Brand advocacy: Demonstrate a deep understanding of our brand values, mission, and product offerings, and effectively communicate them to potential customers.
- Relationship building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, influencers, industry professionals, and other stakeholders to generate brand loyalty and advocacy.
- Ensure an Immaculate Shop Floor and Excellent Customer Experience.
- Sales and commercial drive. Hit growth targets, ensure target margins achieved, no out of stocks, monitor stock days and slow moving stock.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on customer feedback, sales performance, out of stock, expiries, stock days and product range.
- Ensure adequate stock and assist in Category orders.
- Market insights: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to provide valuable feedback and insights to Category Management.
Qualifications:
- Degree or relevant Diploma.
- Minimum of 5 years’ Luxury Fragrance experience as a Beauty Advisor in a busy retail store
- Excellent communication skills: Exceptional verbal communication skills with the ability to engage, connect, and influence a diverse audience.
- Outgoing personality: Friendly, approachable, and confident in initiating conversations and building relationships.
- Professional appearance: Well-groomed and presentable, reflecting the brand’s values and standards.
- Social media savvy: Proficient in using various social media platforms and creating engaging content.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings and weekends, and travel as required for brand training.
- Fluency in English, Swahili and preferably Somali
