As they expand into the African market, they seek a highly skilled and innovative Marketing Brand Manager to lead the adaptation and execution of marketing strategies for their luxury brand.
This role will involve close collaboration with the Paris team and will be crucial in driving brand equity, sales, and creating exceptional client experiences. The Marketing Brand Manager will be responsible for adapting and executing marketing strategies tailored to the African market, ensuring the successful implementation of brand initiatives, and managing brand communications. The role requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and strong leadership skills to build brand equity and drive marketing success in a competitive luxury market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement integrated marketing strategies from the Paris team tailored to the African market, including product launches and seasonal campaigns.
- Develop and manage trade plans with local retailers to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and business goals.
- Manage the creation of marketing campaign elements, ensuring adherence to brand standards and budget constraints.
- Refine marketing strategies based on data-driven insights to maximize ROI.
- Work with the Paris team to set marketing objectives and KPIs aligned with the brand’s vision.
- Perform market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Maintain uniform brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing channels and distribution points.
- Collaborate with the Paris team to create and execute media plans for the brand’s digital and traditional media presence.
- Organize high-profile events and product launches to enhance brand image and generate media attention.
- Manage and monitor budgets for marketing activities, ensuring financial adherence and optimal use of resources.
- Address issues related to brand image, including counterfeits and parallel markets, and establish authorized retailer contracts.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the luxury sector or FMCG industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to make data-driven decisions and capitalize on market trends.
- A keen eye for aesthetics, innovative ideas, and the ability to think outside the box to find new ways to stand out in the respect of the brand DNA and luxury standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey the brand’s story and message to the target audience.
- A team player who fosters a positive work environment, encourages collaboration, and values input from team members.
- A genuine passion and understanding of the luxury industry, along with a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, quality, and exclusivity.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, handling challenges with grace and determination.
- Awareness of international markets and cultural nuances to tailor marketing strategies for a diverse global clientele.
