British Curriculum Mathematics & Physics/ Chemistry /Biology Teacher – Tatu City, Kenya

A progressive, dynamic, fun and fast-paced International school based in Tatu City is looking to recruit a Mathematics & Physics / Biology / Chemistry Teacher to join in September 2019. The ideal candidate must be passionate about toddlers & young children, willing to work in a non-traditional environment that enable children to take responsibility for their learning through deciding and voting for themes that become their curriculum. He/she Must have a valid TSC number with a minimum of 5 years’ experience teaching mathematics and any of the three sciences in British Cambridge Curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create lesson plans for each class based on your experience and the pupils’ specific needs.
  • Keeping up to date with developments in the subject.

  • Introduce interactive activities into the classroom and encourage students to vocalize their concern
  • Communicate with other team members as well as with parents about students’ progress and behaviour.
  • Encourage creativity in students by organizing art and craft projects daily.
  • Create a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere in the classroom.
  • Listen carefully to parents’ requests and concerns and address them as quickly as possible.
  • Help the children learn about the chosen topics in a playful and colourful way.


  • Must have a valid TSC Number.
  • Must have a bachelor’s degree.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience teaching in the British Curriculum Key Stage 2 & 3
  • Excellent track record and good references.
  • Willing to work in Tatu city.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Hands-on approach and keen on extra curriculum activities.
