Our client, a Property Management company with holistic mission and values, is looking for a hands on, authentic and engaging Sales & Business Development Manager for their offices in Nairobi.

The successful candidate will be responsible to qualify and close deals, create new offerings and be a strategic partner to design and implement plans to achieve the set goals. The candidates needs to be an effective manager that will support and grow the sales team, as well as a passionate team player that aligns with our client’s core values and mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Co-create strategic direction with senior leadership.
  • Develop and implement a clear business development and sales strategy.
  • Drive sales through market research, setting goals, and implementing marketing tactics.
  • Support the Sales Team in closing deals and retaining members.
  • Prospect and generate new leads, pitch business, and close high-value deals.
  • Continuously improve the sales cycle and increase conversion rates.
  • Conduct market research for expansion and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies.
  • Manage the marketing team and collaborate on campaigns.
  • Implement sales processes and ensure member retention.
  • Provide sales training and support to the team.
  • Manage and analyze sales data using a CRM.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred.
  • At least 5+ years in sales, preferably with a membership organization.
  • Experience managing a sales team and using CRM software.
  • Passion for the client’s mission and values.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Fully proficient in in sales, negotiation, and customer relationship management.
  • Punctual, professional, and adaptable with high integrity.
