Chief Commercial Officer- Nairobi, Kenya

Our client, a leading manufacturing company in its sector, is looking for a dedicated and dynamic CCO for its offices in Nairobi. The successful candidate will manage the Sales & Marketing efforts across all product lines in Kenya and the East Africa region. He/She must have a proven sales track record as well as experience working in the Manufacturing sector. Hindi, Gujarati and/or Punjabi speaking is a MUST!

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Manage the Sales & Marketing efforts across all product lines in Kenya and the East Africa region
• Manage the Sales & Marketing team
• Ensure that existing relationships are well cared for
• Seek to grow revenue through expansion of existing relationships
• Development of new relationships
• Ensure customer credit is controlled
• Engage in the collection process together with Finance team

Qualifications:
• Minimum of a BA in a relevant field – Masters degree is preferred
• 10+ years of professional experience
• 5+ years of experience in a Senior Sales role in a B2B context
• Kenyan and East African experience
• Proven track record building and managing teams
• Quantitative and precise
• Knows how to set and achieve targets
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Willing to travel in East Africa
