Our client, a dynamic Floriculture Company is seeking to recruit a . Reporting to the Board, the COO will be responsible for driving company’s growth agenda, by delivering ever increasing performance excellence in their staff and business processes. The successful candidate will be expected to bring people leadership, operational and procurement expertise and apply critical thinking and strong business acumen to help in the continued grow of the organisation. The ideal candidate Must have International Exposure. Experince in Floriculture sector is an added advantage
Key Requirements:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the IT, airfreight, procurement and technical teams.
- Implement process improvement strategies across operational departments.
- Reporting operational performance of the business to the CEO
- Maintain strong relationships with an array of stakeholders and partners to foster a resilient and reliable supply chain
- Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth.
- Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, and promote a culture of ethics, integrity, and safety throughout the organisation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar executive leadership role, preferably in the industry/sector that is now ready for the next step in their career.
- Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of financial management, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Demonstrated success in delivering operational improvements and achieving revenue targets.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others towards achieving common goals.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
