Our client, a leading sustainable forestry company in Southern Sudan is seeking to recruit Finance and operations Manager.
The successful candidate Must have a minimum of 6 years working experience and be willing to relocate to Nzara, South Sudan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare management accounts and financial reports.
- Develop and monitor budgets and financial models.
- Develop board papers for the board of directors.
- Donor Funding and Reporting:
- Prepare and submit donor funding reports.
- Manage donor relationships and ensure compliance with donor requirements.
- Oversee procurement processes and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Oversee day-to-day office operations and administrative functions.
- Ensure efficient office management and maintain office supplies and equipment.
- Manage the recruitment and onboarding of staff
- Implement HR policies and procedures
- Engage with community and government stakeholders and maintain positive relationships
- Supervise the accounts assistant and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- CPA (K) or ACCA Finalist
- Good analytical and reporting skills with excellent attention to detail
- High professional integrity and organizational skills
- Minimum of six (6) years’ experience of experience in finance and operations management.
- Previous experience in South Sudan not necessary but an added advantage.
- Highly computer literate – Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Must possess Impeccable integrity
- Self-confident and conscientious.
- Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise.
- Good organisational skills.
