Our client, a BBQ restaurant known as is looking for a General Hotel Supervisor who can grow with the establishment.
The ideal candidate is personable, proactive, and possesses strong leadership skills to supervise a team effectively. The ideal candidate should have at least three years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of 40 staff members, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient service delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Develop and implement strategies for business development, including networking, sales initiatives, and promotional activities.
- Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other department heads to coordinate activities and ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Monitor inventory levels and procurement processes to ensure adequate supplies for operations.
- Uphold health and safety standards in compliance with regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
- Must have a Minimum of three years of experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
- Proven track record in networking, sales, and business development.
- Mature in character, able to handle challenging situations with professionalism and tact.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and regulations, including health and safety protocols.
