Our client a prominent hardware manufacturing company is seeking to hire a Hardware sales manager to be based in Nairobi, Kenya.
The successful candidate will be tasked with developing, implementing, and monitoring comprehensive sales plans and strategies for hardware products as well as pushing sales and acquiring new clients. The ideal candidate must have with 5+ years’ experience in as a hardware sales manager, a relevant degree and must be a Punjabi or Gujarati speaker.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance relationships with existing customers in Kenya.
- Actively seek and acquire new customers to expand the client base.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through attentive service and support.
- Provide tailored hardware product solutions based on specific customer needs.
- Oversee and manage the entire sales process, ensuring timely delivery and follow-up.
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive sales plans and strategies for hardware products.
- Set and achieve sales targets in alignment with company objectives.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to understand demand and competition.
- Monitor market trends and adjust sales strategies promptly to stay ahead of competitors.
- Independently handle and resolve sales-related issues and challenges.
- Lead and manage the hardware business and customer service team efficiently.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration between various departments.
Qualifications:
- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree.
- Must have 5+ years of experience as a Hardware sales manager in a busy company.
- Must have a proven track record of managing a team of at least 10 people.
- Should possess extensive customer resources and connections within the hardware department store sector.
- Must be a Punjab or Gujarati speaker.
- Should have a deep understanding of the Kenyan market with a willingness to travel as needed.
