Our client, an asset tracking and repossession company is looking for a head of business development to be based in Nairobi, Kenya. The successful candidate will be responsible for Identifying growth/sales opportunities for the Company’s products and service to enhance and promote the brand while reporting to the managing director. The successful candidate must have previous working experience in a leadership position in the banking industry.
Key Requirements:
- Identify growth/sales opportunities for the Company’s products and service.
- Lead pitch and sales execution of new Clients.
- Onboard new Clients.
- Manage clients to ensure they are well served and satisfied.
- Grow revenue from existing clients.
- Building a Team to help with business development.
- Market and Competitor research.
- Submit weekly customer visit schedule for approval.
- Monitoring, submission and follow up of tender documents.
Qualifications:
- Must have bachelor’s in business management, Marketing option.
- Must have 3-5 years of working experience in a leadership position in the banking industry.
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
- Able to manage multiple projects at a time, prioritize among competing tasks while always paying strict attention to detail and adhering to deadlines.
- Mature, self-motivated individual who is driven, results oriented and reliable with a high level of integrity.
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
