Head of Business Development – Nairobi, Kenya.

Our client, an asset tracking and repossession company is looking for a head of business development to be based in Nairobi, Kenya. The successful candidate will be responsible for Identifying growth/sales opportunities for the Company’s products and service to enhance and promote the brand while reporting to the managing director. The successful candidate must have previous working experience in a leadership position in the banking industry.

Key Requirements:

  • Identify growth/sales opportunities for the Company’s products and service.
  • Lead pitch and sales execution of new Clients.
  • Onboard new Clients.
  • Manage clients to ensure they are well served and satisfied.
  • Grow revenue from existing clients.
  • Building a Team to help with business development.
  • Market and Competitor research.
  • Submit weekly customer visit schedule for approval.
  • Monitoring, submission and follow up of tender documents.

Qualifications:

  • Must have bachelor’s in business management, Marketing option.
  • Must have 3-5 years of working experience in a leadership position in the banking industry.
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
  • Able to manage multiple projects at a time, prioritize among competing tasks while always paying strict attention to detail and adhering to deadlines.
  • Mature, self-motivated individual who is driven, results oriented and reliable with a high level of integrity.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Always looking to improve on efficiency.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Good teamwork and people skills.
