Our client, a well-established Construction company with its headquarters based in Male, Maldives is currently seeking to recruit a HR Officer.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Human Resources and Admin functions of the organization. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of HR experience and have previously worked in an organization with a workforce exceeding 500 employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Make payment of work permit fees on time for all expatriates
- Renew and maintain insurance for all employees
- Employee medical and work permit cards issuance
- Passport renewals of employees before expiry
- Attendance preparation of Head Office Staff
- Sponsorship / Dependent and Business Visa issuance and maintain
- Update and maintain master database
- Process leaves applications / arrivals / departures and ticket arrangement
- Maintain leave records and update the data base
- Temporary accommodation arrangement and inspect company accommodations
- Male’ site attendance preparations
- Medical and Salary advance arrangement
- SAP update and follow up
- Generate daily manpower report and distribute
- Grievances handling of employees and welfare management
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Previous experience in an HR role or related field
- Knowledge of HR policies, practices, and employment laws
- Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software and tools
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
