Our client, a micro-finance company in Kenya that provides working capital, LPO financing & Unsecured Low Price Competitive Financing is looking for a Product Leader. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the growth of the Company’s Outstanding Loan Book (OLB) from the product category.
- Ensuring timely offshore vehicle search and purchase.
- Ensuring the timely follow-up of all sales leads.
- Building the Cars 360-degree brand.
- Building effective networks to support sales of Product knowledge training
- Establishing strategic partnerships with organisations/entrepreneurs that can support improved product distribution.
- Building and managing a high performance, motivated commission remunerated team.
- Growing MIF sales from in-house distribution.
- Growing MIF sales from strategic partnerships.
- 3% conversion of all digital leads.
- Sales from up-selling/cross-selling other products.
- Delivering a world-class customer experience to both internal and external customers and stakeholders.
- Compliance with all company/regulatory processes and procedures that support effective risk mitigation.
- Build strong and healthy working relationships that augur team cohesion in line the company’s values.
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in a business-related course.
- Must have at least 5 years in car sales.
- Must have at least 3 years managing and leading a team.
- Extensive knowledge of vehicle makes and models.
- Supply chain and logistics management.
- Technical knowledge of on-line product development.
- Passionate about cars.
- Excellent oral & written communication.
- Ability to effectively influence and manage relationships at a senior executive level.
- Agile with a strong ability to identify and prioritise opportunities.
- Problem solver and quick to notice and respond to escalating situations.
- Appreciation for excellent customer experience.
