Our client, a diversified investment holding company with operations across East and Southern Africa, is actively seeking a Research Executive.
This role involves conducting market research, gathering and analyzing data, and delivering findings to internal teams. Headquartered in Nairobi, the company focuses on key sectors such as Renewables, Properties, Services, Gold, and Ag, Food & Forestry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing valuable insights that guide decision-making processes within the organization. The ideal candidate must have excellent desk-based work ethic and be comfortable managing data on Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting primary and secondary research to gather relevant data.
- Analysing research data using statistical techniques and software tools.
- Interpreting research findings to provide actionable insights via Microsoft Excel.
- Developing research reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making.
- Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in research methodologies.
- Managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, Business, or Statistics.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in statistical analysis tools.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with research methodologies and data collection techniques.
