Our client a high-end lodge in the Hospitality Sector is looking to recruit . They will be responsible for handling room reservation requests, checking in and checking out of guests and upselling the hotel properties. The ideal candidates must have at least 3 years’ experience in the hospitality sector, have a positive attitude as well as an engaging, friendly and pleasant personality.
Key Requirements:
- Book and enter room reservation requests using Res Request or Property Management System.
- Update reservations ensuring a flawless check in and check out process.
- Ensure revenue is maximized by up-selling guest rooms and recommending hotel facilities.
- Assist guests regarding property facilities in an informative and helpful way as well as handling clients on phone and email in line with the set SOP.
- Closely liaise with sales and other departments as required.
Qualifications
- Must a bachelor’s degree or diploma in hospitality or its equivalent.
- Must have at least 3 years’ experience in Reservations (Hospitality)
- Must experience working with Res Request or Property Management System.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required and be able to type 25 words per minute.
- Highly responsible, reliable and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- A team player and skilled in customer service.
