Our client, a global company that specializes in fastening technology and assembly solutions is looking for Technical Sales Representatives to help the company build its business in Kenya.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in selling steel products/construction equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.
- Making effective sales representations to prospective clients.
- Preparation of weekly and monthly status reports and action plans.
- Successful promotion of the company’s interests, increase market share, and growing product sales.
- Ensuring that targets are met within the budgeting profits margins.
- Developing and implementing strategies for increasing revenue.
- Protection, growth and development of the already existing client base.
- Ensure client’s inquiries and requests are responded to appropriately and in a timely manner
- Monitoring and evaluating competitor activity, provision of market information and intelligence.
- Conduct market surveys, identification and pursuance of market opportunities locally to improve access.
- Making accurate and rapid cost calculations and providing clients with quotations.
- Good contacts within the industry.
Qualifications:
- Must have a Engineering Degree from recognised tertiary Institution (Civil, Mechanical, or other relevant Engineering)
- Must have At least 5 years specific work Experience in an Engineering Solutions Oriented Environment (Civil/Construction, Manufacturing, Other), with at least 3 years in Sales, with a favourable sales record
- Must have experience working in a sales/commercial qualification of at least 3 year
- Should have great communication and written skills.
