Our client is a leading manufacturer in the industrial lubricants sector, known for their innovative products and exceptional customer service is seeking to hire a Sales Manager to manage their team.
The successful candidate Must have a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in industrial sales 3 of which should be in a managerial position, preferably in the lubricants or a related industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet the company’s sales objectives for lubricants within the assigned territory.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to adjust sales tactics as necessary
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distributors in the assigned territory.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory or market segment.
- Work with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional activities that support sales efforts.
- Prepare regular sales reports, including forecasts, activity reports, and performance metrics.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, 3 of which should be on a managerial position preferably in the lubricant or related industry.
- Proven ability to manage a sales team and achieve sales targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
