Our client, a prominent tours and safari company in Kenya is seeking to hire a Sea Safaris Tour Consultant to be based in their office in Nairobi.
The role holder will be responsible for driving sales initiatives, cultivating strong relationships with clients and partners, and identifying new business opportunities to support growth. The ideal candidate must have a relevant Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a Sea Safaris Tour Consultant.
Key responsibilities:
- Promptly address and respond to sales inquiries.
- Support the CEO in managing, filing, updating, and sharing rates with clients interested in booking.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and other industry stakeholders to generate consistent booking inquiries and sales leads.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert guidance and personalized assistance throughout the booking process to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Collaborate closely with the operations team to coordinate tour logistics, ensuring seamless execution of safari itineraries and exceptional guest experiences.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and opportunities, leveraging insights to refine sales strategies and capitalize on market demand.
- Utilize CRM software for efficient client management, lead tracking, and sales performance analysis.
- Attending relevant industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote offerings and expand the sales network.
Qualifications:
- Must have a relevant bachelor’s degree.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a Sea Safaris Tour Consultant.
- Interpersonal skills to form effective working relationships with people at all levels.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to form working relationships with people at all levels.
