Self motivated Sales & Marketing Executive for an International Travel Group


Our client, a global leader specialising in business travel management, is looking for a Sales & Marketing Executive for its office in Nairobi. The succesfull candidate will be responsible to retain and develop profitable and strategically important clients as well as improve profitability and customer contribution. He/she will make sure to be perceived by customers as a thought leader and have a passion for understanding customer needs. No preference in any sector, as long as he/she has strong CLIENT ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT SKILLS!

Responsibilities:
• Develop and successfully manage a joint business plan with clients
• Develop an internal strategy for each account via the diagnostic tool in CRM
• Take responsibility for nationally-contracted commitments as part of a regional/global agreement
• Work with clients to ensure objectives of travel policy are met
• Assist sales with RFP and re-bids/benchmarking/negotiations and recommendations
• Agree annual budget
• Ensure that account finances and profitability are reviewed and delivered on time
• Proactively seek new commercial opportunities, including up-selling and cross selling
• Renegotiate financial arrangements as necessary
• Communicate with all stakeholders involved with the customer both internally and externally
• Regular update of CRM
• Communicate both formally and informally with international colleagues as business demands

Qualifications/skills:

• Bachelors degree in relevant subject
• Robust Client Management skills
• Proactive interest in the corporate travel industry
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Good Analytical and numeracy skills
• Computer literate
• Excellent Business planning and negotiation skills
