A Popular Lifestyle Magazine in Kenya is looking for a motivated and target driven Sales Executive to join their Sales team. The successful candidates will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with customers and overseeing sales responsibilities include discovering and pursuing new sales prospects, negotiating deals and maintaining customer satisfaction. He/she must have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented. Experience working in an Agency is a MUST!
- Develop & execute strategies to drive business in new & existing markets.
- Timely and accurate forecasting to build predictable and recurring revenue.
- Establish and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Bring in a new list of clientele to grow the Magazine.
- Build rapport and establish long term relationships with new clients.
- Grow sales and correctly implement & use CRM system.
- Partake in conceptualizing new avenues of advertising and partnerships for clients.
- Identify business opportunities with prospective customers.
- Analyze opportunities by researching the industry and market trends.
- Process correspondence and paperwork related to accounts.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to new and existing clients.
- Deliver advertising or illustration proofs to clients for approval.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject.
- 3+ years or equivalent experience in media sales.
- Sales and account management experience.
- Strong time-management and operational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience and working knowledge of CRM systems and Linked In.
- Demonstrate a track record of achieving targets.
- Strong negotiating skills.
