Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of comprehensive sustainability strategies aligned with the organizational values and objectives.
- Serve as a bridge between the company and the community, fostering positive relationships and collaboration with residents, organizations, and government entities.
- Actively seek out opportunities for community involvement and partnership to support shared sustainability goals.
- Effectively communicate the sustainability efforts and initiatives to internal and external stakeholders, including employees, customers, investors, and the broader community.
- Utilize various communication channels to raise awareness, promote engagement, and highlight the progress towards sustainability targets.
- Oversee the execution of sustainability projects and initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with relevant regulations and best practices.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, manage resources, and monitor project performance to achieve desired outcomes.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret sustainability data to track performance across the organization, identify areas for improvement, and measure the effectiveness of the initiatives.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for management, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to demonstrate progress and transparency.
Qualifications/skills:
- Environmental Science, Sustainability or related field. Master’s degree in similar field is ideal.
- 10+ years of evaluating, monitoring and enforcing international ESG standards in multiple sectors in different regions.
- Proven experience in sustainability management, community engagement, or related roles.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Passion for sustainability, social responsibility, and making a positive impact.
- Relevant national or international ESG certifications or coursework.
