Our client, a prominent fish platform in East Africa with operations situated on the Kenyan side of Lake Victoria and extending into Lake Kivu, Rwanda, is seeking to hire a (located mainly in Nairobi with up to 25% travel across our sites in Kisumu, HomaBay and others as they grow).
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customize ERP Next modules, forms, and workflows to meet business requirements.
- Integrate ERP Next with other systems, databases, and APIs.
- Monitor ERP Next performance, conduct regular maintenance, and provide technical support.
- Document technical specifications and train end-users on ERP Next functionality.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in ERP Next and related technologies for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years’ experience in ERP Next development and customization.
- Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and Frappe framework.
- In-depth knowledge of ERP Next modules, workflows, and architecture.
- Experience with integration of ERP Next with other systems, databases, and APIs.
- Familiarity with database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, REST APIs).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
