Team Leader (Motor Import Finance) – Nairobi, Kenya

Our client, a micro-finance company in Kenya that provides working capital, LPO financing & Unsecured Low Price Competitive Financing is looking Team Leader. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the growth of the Company’s Outstanding Loan Book (OLB) from the product category.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with the delivery team to ensure the smooth importation and delivery logistics of vehicles.
  • Recruiting and managing effective relationships with ’small dealers’ as SME or individuals selling less than 10 cars/month.
  • Recruiting and managing a lead referral network in the car importation logistic process e.g., Shipping Lines, CFS, Clearing Agents.
  • Building brand awareness and brand equity within the target network.
  • Ensure the timely payment of commission to the referral network.
  • Working with the delivery team to ensure the smooth importation and delivery logistics of vehicles.
  • Recruiting and managing a lead referral network in the car importation logistic process e.g., Shipping Lines, CFS, Clearing Agents.
  • Building brand awareness and brand equity within the target network.
  • Ensure the timely payment of commission to the referral network.
  • Detailed monthly sales performance reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related course.
  • Must have 5 years in used car sales.
  • Extensive knowledge of vehicle makes and models.
  • Passionate about cars.
  • Excellent oral & written communication.
  • Ability to effectively influence and manage relationships at a senior executive level.
  • Agile with a strong ability to identify and prioritise opportunities.
  • Problem solver and quick to notice and respond to escalating situations.
  • Appreciation for excellent customer experience.
