Our client is seeking a highly skilled Virtual Energy Manager to join their team in Nairobi, Kenya.

This office-based role involves collaborating closely with the UK team to optimize energy consumption, implement energy efficiency strategies, and provide data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in energy management, strong data analysis skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. Additional responsibilities include conducting energy audits, monitoring performance metrics, and preparing detailed reports. Familiarity with ISO 50001 and renewable energy technologies is preferred. Candidates must be eligible to work in Kenya.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed energy audits and assessments to identify opportunities for energy savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Perform data analysis on energy consumption patterns, providing actionable insights to clients and internal teams.
  • Develop and implement energy management strategies aligned with clients’ operational and sustainability goals.
  • Monitor and report on energy performance metrics, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with the UK team to align on project goals, methodologies, and reporting processes.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations for clients, showcasing findings and recommendations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in energy management

Requirements:

  • Minimum Experience: 3 years in energy management or related fields, with a strong focus on data analysis.
  • Educational Background: Degree in Energy Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Data Analysis Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools and energy management software.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and make informed decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction and report preparation.
  • Project Management: Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, especially across different time zones
