Much like any entrepreneur’s story, Nike Majekodunmi’s journey is one filled with many ups and downs. Originally working as a full time e-business consultant, Majekodunmi found her way into the bakery industry in Lagos because a guest at her housewarming party in 2006 loved her cookies.
Balancing work, a side hustle and getting married wasn’t easy but less than a year later, Majekodunmi was able to open her first store and move out of her home kitchen. The business’s customer base grew quickly and so did the business itself. Through the journey, Majekodunmi had to learn on the job – securing finance and investments, establishing a multichannel supply chain, writing business plans, dealing with competition and overcoming a range of other obstacles she had not anticipated when she commenced the journey. Not to mention the impact that COVID-19 had on her business. Learn more about her journey and how she overcame these obstacles here http://bit.ly/3ayrzMj
