Bamai Namata is a 26-year-old Cameroonian and founder of the tech company Maibeta Inc, which is a digital service platform to match private and institutional customers to prescreened service professionals and technicians for jobs in the maintenance, repair, and construction industry.
Bamai noticed a problem anyone living on the continent has experienced in some capacity – the difficulty in finding trained technicians available at your hour of need so he created Maibeta.
Through an intuitive web app, users can go through a very simple process through which they get connected to the best service providers in the maintenance and construction industry.
Building on a solid database of technicians which the company background checks and invests in training for, users of Maibeta’s platform can comfortably hire service providers that they are sure will meet the standards of quality they desire.
The company is motivated to not only be successful in business but also be one of the major avenues and hubs for employment creation in Africa for people with vocational and skilled training.
He also became the only Cameroonian to appear on the Tech List of Forbes Africa 30 under 30.
