Our client a worldwide smart cards solutions provider is looking to be based in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategic plans for optimized productivity and lead a team toward maximum productivity and efficiency. The ideal candidate must have experience in Manufacturing Sector and be open to working and living in Dar es Salaam.
Key Requirements:
- Develop strategic plans for optimized productivity.
- Review and improve organizational effectiveness by developing processes, overseeing employees, establishing a highly motivated work environment
- Create innovative approaches for improvement.

- Provide guidance and feedback to help others strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, assigning weekly performance goals and assuring their completion, while accomplishing your own goals
- Develop the manufacturing plan and establish procedures for maintaining high standards of manufacturing operations to ensure that products conform to established customer and quality standards.
- Promote safety and ensure teams compliance with all safety and environmental rules, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Operation Management, Engineering, a related discipline, or its equivalent
- A minimum of 8 years in manufacturing experience with strong experience with multi-product facility operations
- Complete varied and complex assignments with little direction
- Knowledge about Quality Management System Requirements such as, Quality, Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety, Security, PCI, IT Security
- Proven experience in a managerial role
- Strong decision-making capabilities
- Above-average communication, collaboration, and delegation skills
- Proven ability to develop and maintain financial plans.
- Ability to motivate and lead people and hold employees accountable.
- Strong working knowledge of operational procedures
