Our client, an International Engineering company that manufacturers steam management systems is looking for a . The successful candidate will be responsible for the organization and coordination of the activities within the warehouse. He/She will develop and implement policies and procedures related to the receiving, storing, and shipping of goods while maintaining safe operating procedures in the Warehouse.
Key Requirements:
- Receiving and evaluating incoming shipments for quantity and quality compliance and processing them in the ERP system.
- Packing and dispatch of goods to customers in harmony with the company’s excellence values
- Improving delivery plans with strong scheduling knowledge, organizational skills, and efficient coordination with courier services.
- Oversees upkeep of equipment and the physical condition of the warehouse, identifying the need for maintenance, renovations, and replacements.
- Maintains the warehouse clean with proper housekeeping and in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Designing and maintaining warehouse and storage layout to maximize space utilization, accommodate equipment, and optimize processes.
- Implementation of company policies and procedures to improve safety, workflow, and productivity.
- Ensuring warehouse shelves and racking are in good condition and properly labelled.
- Planning and coordinating stock-take activities.
- Oversees disposal of waste in coordination with the sustainability department.
- Supporting Operations Manager in orders processing, procurement, and maintenance activities.
- Supporting operations Manager in coordinating logistics activities including shipping goods from overseas
- Use ERP and IQM system to manage the stock effectively.
- To perform any special projects or tasks that may be assigned to you from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management and Logistics with relevant experience.
- Must have a minimum 3 years working experience in similar position
- Excellent analytical and IT skills Ability to work on your own and in a team.
- The ability to safely operate warehouse machinery and equipment.
- Good spoken and written English.
- A flexible approach to work and work hours.
- Be prepared to tackle any other duties for the good of the company.
