Hospitality group Rotana has hosted the
soft-opening of the Johari Rotana property in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The
five-star property marks the group’s entrance in the East African market.
Abu Dhabi-based urban developer IMKAN
has unveiled a luxury complex in Rabat: Le Carousel. This project, IMKAN’s
largest in Africa is a mixed-use complex located on the Rabat Corniche and will
be completed in about 5 years. Just about 15 minutes from downtown and the
motorway, this project covers about 10.5 hectares of which 50 percent is
devoted to green spaces and walkways.
W Hotels debuts in Abu Dhabi with W Abu
Dhabi – Yas Island. The hotel is the brand’s second W Hotel to open this year
in the United Arab Emirates after W Dubai – The Palm. It is the only hotel in
the world located atop a Grand Prix racetrack.
